Pay for more AI, and for building.

The engine, its checks and every figure behind them are free. AI is metered in credits because each use is a paid model call; the paid plans add more credits, AI pictures, somewhere to keep your designs, files you can build from, and a queue to submit them to.

Anyone deciding whether this is worth paying for

  • 25 AI credits a month: one per brief drafted
  • Starter machines and Surprise me, free and unlimited
  • Every figure with the formula that produced it
  • The full build wizard, analysis and bill of materials on screen
  • One saved design, replaceable whenever you like
  • No AI pictures. Concept pictures are on the paid plans.
  • No exports. The URDF, STL, GLB, ROS package, BOM CSV and datasheet are all on the paid plans.
  • Saving a second design asks you to upgrade or delete the first. There is no monthly cap — the one slot is the limit.

$49/ month

Everything the tool computes, in files you can build from.

One engineer building real machines

  • Everything in Free, with room to keep it
  • 500 AI credits a month, AI concept pictures included
  • Exports: URDF, STL, GLB, ROS package, BOM CSV, datasheet
  • Up to 50 stored designs
  • Two prototype submissions a month
  • Revision history on every design
  • One seat. A second person needs Studio.
  • Fifty stored designs is a ceiling, not a rate — archive or delete to make room.

Studio

$199/ month

No ceilings, and more than one person.

A team shipping machines together

  • Everything in Maker, uncapped
  • 3,000 AI credits a month
  • Five seats
  • Unlimited stored designs and exports
  • Ten prototype submissions a month
  • Priority in the prototype queue
  • Prototype submissions are still capped, because each one is real work at the other end rather than compute.
  • AI credits are capped too: each one is a paid model call.

What AI credits pay for

Reading a brief in plain words takes a language model, and a picture takes an image model; each is a paid call, so each costs credits. The engine itself — the solvers, the checks, starter machines and Surprise me — costs none, and every figure with the formula behind it stays free to read. Free credits reset on the 1st; paid plans renew on the day the card is charged.

Why prototype submissions are capped on every plan

Everything else here is compute, and compute got cheap when the solvers replaced the language model. A prototype submission is a person at the other end. That is the one limit that does not come off with a bigger plan.
